A special moment in the evening saw Aquinas College Foundation Chair Michael Prandy (Class of 1981) present the 2025 College Council Captains with a Bursary Plaque in recognition of the funds they raised during their final year at the College. Their generosity now supports a Year 11 student who may otherwise be unable to access an Aquinas education due to financial hardship.

The bursary is a tangible expression of the Edmund Rice tradition of compassion, justice and opportunity, with the Class of 2025's contribution already making a meaningful difference to the life of an Aquinian and his family.

Graduates were also encouraged to remain actively involved with the Old Aquinians' Association and were invited to attend the annual OAA dinner later this year, where the Class of 2025 will be welcomed as the Association's newest members. Thanks to the generosity of the Association, tickets to the dinner are complimentary for the graduating class, helping to foster ongoing engagement and celebrate 
their official introduction into the alumni community.

The evening was a fitting reminder that while graduation marks the end of school, it is also the beginning of a lifelong connection with Aquinas and the Old Aquinians' Association. Once an Aquinian, always an Aquinian.
