BRAVO! ARTS APPEAL
Something exciting is happening in 2027!
As the ground is prepared for the Aquinas Centre, a new chapter begins. We’re building more than a state-of-the-art facility; we’re creating a place where our community gathers and the performing arts take flight.
At its heart is the McMillan Recital Hall, a stunning theatre with seating for more than 700 guests, crafted to elevate the sights and sounds of every performance. Here our Schola Cantorum, instrumental ensembles and Drama students will step into the light, discovering the joy of performing in an environment designed for excellence.
Beyond the stage, the McMillan Recital Hall will also serve as a vibrant heart of College life, hosting assemblies, lectures, presentations and community events, providing a place for the Aquinas story to be shared by us all.
Alongside the McMillan Recital Hall, the new Music School will feature tutorial rooms, recording studios and practice areas where boys can discover their passions, refine their skills and achieve their potential.
Positioned at the entrance to our campus, the Aquinas Centre affirms the central role of the Arts in an Aquinas education, offering a creative environment where infinite possibilities unfold. With world-class acoustic design and a vision to nurture excellence, the Aquinas Centre will open in 2027 as a cultural landmark for our community – a bold investment in the future and a celebration of the gifts of our young men as they prepare to lead with purpose and compassion.
We're creating a space where more of these moments can happen – a purpose-built Centre for arts, performance and excellence – the AQUINAS CENTRE.
A place where music, drama, storytelling, lectures and creative thinking will thrive. Where every boy can explore his identity, rise to his potential and perform with confidence.
Your support is the difference between a good building and a remarkable one. There are many ways to get involved, from symbolic gestures like buying a brick or naming a seat, to family tributes and larger transformational gifts.
Every donation, large or small, brings this vision closer to life. Your support will help ensure the arts are not only included but celebrated at Aquinas College.
