GIFT IN WILL
A gift in your Will to Aquinas College is a unique and personal way to help shape the education of future generations of Aquinas students. Gifts can be delegated to an area of your choosing or left to the College for general purposes. All donations are gratefully received, contributing to the ongoing prosperity and success of our College.
A Gift in Will is a special kind of gift, one that takes consideration and contemplation.
It helps if you discuss your intentions with the College before you finalise legal or financial arrangements. While some donors choose to make a Gift in Will anonymously, the College would appreciate talking with you about how your gift will benefit the School. Your plans will be kept completely private and confidential.
When you inform Aquinas College that you have left a Gift in Will you can choose to become a member of the Veritas Society, and can be recognised and thanked during your lifetime.
The Veritas Society recognises the special commitment made by members of our community who have chosen to leave a gift in will to Aquinas College.
Bequests, both large and small, have played a vital role at Aquinas since our foundation in 1938, providing for buildings, scholarships and bursaries. We continue to be inspired by the members of our community who have left gifts in their Will.

The type of clause your legal advisor might consider using is:
a) I give to Aquinas College Foundation Inc of Salter Point, Western Australia (ACF), free of State and Federal duties, for general use, (one or multiple of the following options)
b) If the gift in the preceding paragraph (a) cannot take effect completely or at all, to the extent that it cannot take effect, I give it to the charitable organisation or organisations in Australia, which my executor considers most nearly fulfils or fulfil the objects I intend to benefit.
c) The receipt of the treasurer, secretary or public officer for the time being of ACF or the beneficiary organisation is an absolute discharge to my executor.
